Akademia VCA — Training Center — 10 years experience

Multilingual courses

A VCA course in your language — even if the trainer speaks another.

On our courses the lecture is interpreted by TranslationBox™. You hear it through headphones in your own language and ask questions in your own words, while the trainer and the rest of the room hear you in theirs.

Our own invention

TranslationBox™ — breaks down language barriers

Listen to the lecture and ask questions in your own language.

Simultaneous interpretation in the training room or lecture hall. The trainer speaks in their own language, and every participant hears them through headphones in theirs. A participant asks a question in their own language — the trainer hears it in the trainer’s language, and the other participants in theirs.

A question asked in Spanish reaches the trainer in, say, Polish, and the other participants in English and Turkish. Smoothly, in both directions.

This is already the sixth version of TranslationBox. For two years it has been hard at work on our courses — every lecture gives us room to keep refining and improving it.

72% lowest VCA exam score (July 2026) — every participant who followed the lecture in their own language passed. The lecture was given in English, Ukrainian and Turkish.

25 months of experience in professional, industry-specific translation
Languages
1 lecture language and 3 simultaneous translations, chosen from 20 languages. The trainer sets up TranslationBox™ on a tablet: picks a female or male voice, follows the translation as it happens and, if needed, adjusts the pace of the lecture to the pace of the translation.
Context
Translates whole sentences and stays on topic. On a safety course it speaks the language of safety, on a course for doctors — the language of medicine. And the trainer’s jokes? Not every saying has a literal equivalent in another language, so TranslationBox translates by context, into the saying that means the same thing there. In Polish it “pours like from a bucket” (leje jak z cebra), in English it’s raining cats and dogs, and in Dutch it rains pipe stems (het regent pijpenstelen).
Delay
3.5–5 seconds, depending on sentence length. The trainer doesn’t have to wait for the translation — they speak freely and TranslationBox does the rest. Everything the trainer and the students say is queued and translated with the context intact.
Range
Up to 800 m for both the trainer and the listeners — covers the largest lecture halls.
Wireless
We use proven Sennheiser technology: a headset microphone for the trainer and wireless headphones for the students.
Two trainers
The system can handle two trainers at the same time, speaking the same language.
