What the exam looks like
At our centres you take the exam on a tablet. You move between questions with the arrows at the bottom of the screen or by tapping the question numbers on the right. Questions you have answered are marked blue by the system.
You also have a marker: the button with the orange corner lets you flag a question you need to think about longer, and the calculator comes in handy for calculations, for example when choosing hearing protection.
At the top of the screen you will see a timer showing the elapsed time, plus buttons to change the text size and contrast. Once you have answered all the questions, simply tap “finish test” and the system shows you your score.
What the exam does not have
The real exam, and so our practice test too, has no explanations for the questions. When you finish, the system only shows you which questions you got wrong. There are no aids, hints or suggestions here either. We did our best to mirror the wording of the questions you will see at the exam. Better to get used to how they are built here.
There is no login either, so you cannot compare the results of two identical tests, but if you like, we will e-mail you your score.
